Loops and grooves are usually repetitive and boring. Plus, they don't help with writer's block at all. Song Skeleton's full song tracks were first made as full songs with guitar, bass, and vocals. Then, we stripped them down to just drums, so that you can write your OWN interpretation!
What's Included In The MIDI Drum Pack?
Every Song Skeleton MIDI pack comes with accompanying stems of each individual drum + room and overhead stems, as well as a stereo WAV track. This allows for easier MIDI mapping and also allows those who aren't engineers to easily just drag the stems or stereo track into their DAW rather than wrestle with a drum instrument .
Why Not Just Use Grooves To Build A Song?
You could use the grooves that come included with some of the more popular drum instruments, but what you end up with is a song that's basically a verse groove repeated 4 times, a chorus groove that's repeated 4 times, etc. Penciling in MIDI yourself allows you to create dynamic parts, but it takes hours and usually doesn't sound human. Song Skeleton isn't grooves or loops, but full songs written by drummers and songwriters to give you a pre-written drum track that sounds real, dynamic, and based off of the arrangement of hit songs.
Does It Include Drum Mappings For GGD, Superior Drummer, etc.?
Yes, our premier Skull Rocker song pack comes with MIDI versions for SSD, Superior, GGD Modern and Massive, General MIDI, and EZ Drummer. We will have MIDI versions for Addictive Drums soon.
